Welcome to the News Pages

The News Pages are a new feature to this site, where news and announcements are submitted by friends and family via email. These items are then automatically added to the web site. As new items are added, all of the links in the site are updated, so the site maintains its integrity.

I think that this system will make the News pages much more interesting and timely than the old News and Annoucement page on my personal site for several reasons.

First, you will no longer have to wait for me to update the site. Submit a news item, and the site updates itself. Second, there is no filter on the news, news items will be first hand, with few edits by me. Finally, and mostly for me, the maintaining the news page will be less of a chore. I don't have to think up items to include and I don't have to manually interact with the site when I want to make and update. Like this message, I can just write something down, mail it off and it will be posted.

Of course, for this to work well, it requires your input and submissions. So if you have something to say, your going somewhere, you've been somewhere, you just heard from an old friend, you just gave birth, your house is being invaded by space aliens, write it up and email it in.
